Ready for the Ride

I must admit that all the recent techy talk in the department has my head spinning, yet I am excited about the new changes and opportunities that will arrive in the near future. I have been primed and poised for action ever since the Ian Jukes presentation at the TSDC conference and am truly ready to "embrace change!" My personal goal is to be much more technologically literate by this time next year. I also plan to challenge and engage other "digital immigrants" along the way. I am counting on the C & I team to help me get there. Beware my techy and tech-less friends....Moss the Boss is ready for the ride!

  2. I'm pumped by a vision becoming a reality. When I posted my blog last year, no one was interested or enthusiastic. It was kind of a joke. Everybody ignored my requests to join in the conversation as if I were an alien from another planet. It has taken a new voice with another level of energy to move us forward. Thanks Dan for gently prodding and pushing. No turning back!

  3. jeri - isn't it amazing what a year will do to people's perception of technology? i hope everyone's delve into blogs will help remind us that technology is always changing and its not good enough to settle into "what's now", we need to always be looking for "what's next?". thanks for being so supportive of my inner techie.

  4. I'm blown away by the "Tipping Point" we seem to have reached with jumping forward with technology. Dan was the perfect catalyst - agently coaxing techie to move us to take the baby steps and leaps forward. Stephanie, your open honest revelations also support our progression to better ways to communicate. Bravo, team.

  5. WOW, this feels so great. I enjoy sharing and learning so I am too thrilled. Dan has been exposing me to so many new techie ideas
that I almost feel like the "spoiled child".I have had a wikispace, delicious account, polleverywhere account, atlinks account and now a blog. Simply because Dan said " you need each of these" and I did. Proximity has it rewards, thanks Dan for being pesistent and Jeri you allowed him to "soar" and we are all rewarded, WOW. Stephanie, we are delighted that you have recognized such great talents and it can now be harnessed and put to great use. WOW.

  8. I concur with Karen - I feel the change really happened over night and suddenly everyone is onboard! How awesome is that? Dan presented the info in such a laid back way that even I left the meeting thinking "this will be no problem for me." I appreciate how you are embracing this new elephant in the room and setting the example for us all. What a great team we all make!
